The Bharatiya Janata Party has released its third list of 25 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Thus, the BJP has so far announced a total of 146 candidates. He had announced the names of 99 candidates from the first list and 22 candidates from the second list. Apart from this, the BJP has also named Santuk Marotrao Humbarde as its candidate for the by-elections to be held in the Nanded Lok Sabha seat. The Mahayuti alliance has so far announced candidates for 260 of 288 seats. No candidates have yet been filed for 28 seats.

Let us tell you that BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP are included in the grand alliance. Apart from the 146 BJP candidates, the Shiv Sena has so far announced its candidates for 65 seats and the NCP for 49 seats. While Maha Vikas Aghadi has so far announced its candidates for 259 seats and candidates for 29 seats are yet to be fielded. MVA includes Congress, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena UBT and Sharad Pawar’s NCPSP. Shiv Sena UBT has fielded candidates for 84 seats, Congress for 99 and NCPSP for 76 seats.

BJP has fielded Sudhakar Kohle from Nagpur-West Assembly seat in Maharashtra and Milind Pandurang Mane from Nagpur-North seat. Sanjay Upadhyay has been given the ticket in place of Borivali MLA Sunil Rane.
