Modi laddu made in Bhagalpur.
To make the festival of happiness Diwali even more special and tasty, a sweet businessman from Bhagalpur has prepared amazing sweets and entered into discussion. Actually, he has made ‘Modi Laddu’ in a different way and is delivering it to people’s homes. The special thing is that Ganges water has also been mixed in this laddu. In this Shahi Laddu made with pure ghee, pure saffron, pistachios and almonds have also been used along with rose water. This laddu is also under discussion because the weight of a laddu is 250 grams.
The TV9 Digital team reached the sweet shop of Sanjeev alias Lalu Sharma, the sweet entrepreneur who makes ‘Modi Laddu’ and wanted to know the purpose of making this Laddu. Lalu Sharma said that in 2014, when Narendra Modi became Prime Minister for the first time, there was a lot of excitement on Diwali and that same year he had prepared laddus on behalf of Prime Minister Modi. This year too, maintaining this tradition, I have made special laddus, which we sell for Rs 225 a piece.
How to prepare ‘Modi Laddu’?
It is prepared with superior quality and purity. Pure ghee, chickpea flour boondi, saffron, green pistachios, almonds, rose petals, rose perfume and rose water have also been added. Furthermore, all natural colors are used in its preparation. The special thing is that Ganga water has also been mixed, because Prime Minister Modi is also an MP from the area on the banks of the Ganges and our area of Bhagalpur is also on the banks of the Ganges. For this reason we have used water from the Ganges.
Diabetic patients can also eat these laddus.
Lalu Sharma further said that even diabetic patients can eat these laddus without any hesitation. I also made sugar free laddu in Modi laddu. We also prepare more upon request. He said that I make this laddu not from a commercial point of view but from the point of view of sharing love and it reaches many people’s homes as a gift.
‘Modi Laddus’ sent to CM Nitish Kumar
The demand for this laddu has increased further during Diwali. I want that if I have gained popularity through Modi Laddus, these Laddus reach every home. Let us tell you that Lalu Sharma also sent this special Modi Laddu to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Besides, MP Nishikant Dubey was also sent as a gift.
