In such a situation, as per the wish of the Chief Minister, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Goyal, has deployed a huge team to make the Depotsav grand and otherworldly. Under the guidance of the district administration, the university’s health department and primary health care center are also ready. On the other hand, with the help of the University Municipal Corporation, teams have been sent to clean the ghats. Apart from this, the ghats are continuously cleaned by sanitary vehicles.

It is said that to create a record of lighting 25 lakh lamps, the work of putting up 28 lakh lamps late into the night is about to be completed. On October 29, a team of 30 people led by Guinness World Records team consultant Nischal Barot and members of the university’s counting committee will count the decorated lamps at 55 ghats well into the night. On October 30, a new world record will be set by lighting 28 lakh lamps with oil and wicks late at night.
