Young South African batsman Tristan Stubbs has dominated again. This time, this right-handed batsman batted brilliantly against Bangladesh in the Chittagong Test. Stubbs scored a brilliant century in the first innings of the second Test. This is the first century of Stubbs’ career and he played 106 innings. Stubbs hit 6 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. This innings of Stubbs is special because his first Test century was scored on Asian soil. It is really very special for a South African batsman to score a century on the difficult Bangladesh pitch.
Stubbs and Georgie’s Amazing Partnership
In addition to his century, Stubbs made an excellent partnership with South African opener Tony de Georgi. Together they added 201 runs and put Bangladesh completely on the defensive.
