- People above 70 years of age will get free treatment under PM-JAY

(Mahendragarh News) Narnaul. On the occasion of Dhanvantari Jayanti and the ninth Ayurveda Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the Haryana State Action Plan (Climate Change and Human Health) through a webcast from the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) , New Delhi. Apart from this, many other plans for the country were put in place.
Locally, common citizens and healthcare workers watched the live telecast of this program through a large LED screen at the Narnaul Civil Hospital. Chief Medical Officer Dharmendra Sangwan was present as chief guest on this occasion.
Addressing the citizens before the programme, the chief medical officer said that the government is continuously improving the health sector. Along with infrastructure development, the government has launched many such schemes through which common citizens have access to easy and affordable treatment.
He informed that under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), health coverage will be extended to all senior citizens aged 70 years and above. This will help provide health coverage to all seniors, regardless of their income. He said continuous efforts are being made to provide quality health services across the country.
