In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, on the occasion of the ninth “National Ayurveda Day” being celebrated by the Department of AYUSH, Haryana, today in a series of New Day events, Lord Shri Dhanvantari Ji is being He worshiped with complete devotion, enthusiasm and joy on the day of Dhanvantari Jayanti. While it was concluded, a free AYUSH medical camp was organized at the district level at Harijan Chaupal of Bihali village (Atelli Mandi).
District Ayurveda Officer Dr Ajit Singh told those present that the Central and Haryana governments are making continuous efforts to bring Ayurveda to the people.
Since 2016, the government decided to celebrate Dhanvantari Jayanti (Dhanteras) on a large scale every year as “National Ayurveda Day” and since then, for the last 8 years, Ayurvedic hospitals, Ayurvedic hospitals, villages of Haryana and the public They have generally been coming to the Ayush Department for the last 8 years. The work of benefiting common people with Ayurveda and Yoga is continuously carried out through AYUSH wings in general hospitals, AYUSH institutions located in community health centres, Ayurvedic dispensaries, AYUSH health temples and free of charge. AYUSH medical camps are organized in the villages every month. Apart from blood and sugar testing facilities, free AYUSH medicines are also available to common people at AYUSH health temples.
The government is also seriously considering the benefits of Ayushman card and reimbursement process for Ayurveda medicines so that more and more people and government officials and employees can benefit from Ayush schemes and get reimbursed for the expenses incurred for their medicines.
He said that Ayurveda is not only a medical science but also the basis for living a happy life and at the same time achieving a long life. The sutras of Ayurveda are universal and eternal truths that do not change over time. What was said in Ayurveda 5000 years ago remains the same today and the medicines and formulas described in Ayurveda remain unchanged.

In the camp, free medicines were distributed to 220 patients after screening for diseases such as joint pain, arthritis, respiratory diseases, cough, diabetes, leukorrhea in women, leucorrhoea, nasal allergy, skin disorders and anemia, etc.
