Nasrallah’s relative Saifieddin was appointed by Hezbollah’s Jihad Council. He was overseeing Hezbollah’s financial and administrative affairs. He was considered Nasrallah’s successor.

However, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said Hashem Saffieddin, the possible successor to slain Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, had probably been killed.
More than 400 Hezbollah agents killed
Tension is rising rapidly in the Middle East. Experts believe that these attacks may further deepen the current tension between Israel and Lebanon because the situation is already serious due to Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon.

Nasrallah died of asphyxiation
Hassan Nasrallah died of asphyxiation from poisonous smoke. He was hiding in Hezbollah’s secret bunker in Beirut, where he was killed in an Israeli attack on September 27. Israel’s Channel 12 reported in its report that Nasrallah’s secret bunker was destroyed in the Israeli attack, so 64-year-old Nasrallah died of asphyxiation from poisonous smoke.

Israel had dropped between 80 and 85 bunker-buster bombs on the surrounding blocks. Bunker Buster means bombs that destroy bases built deep underground. A 30-foot-deep crater was created when the bomb fell on the building where Nasrallah was located. The specialty of the GBU-72 family bunker buster bombs is that they can break through thick steel and concrete walls and attack at a depth of 30 to 60 feet.
According to media reports, when Nasrallah’s body was recovered from the scene, there were no signs of any external injuries on his body.
