Bhakunt Bhairavnath ji’s door was closed during worship
The gates of Kedarnath Dham, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, will be closed on November 3. More than 15 lakh devotees visited
In 2024, more than 15 lakh devotees i.e. around 16 lakh devotees visited Kedarnath Dham. There is still a constant flow of devotees coming to Shri Kedarnath Dham. Every day, around 15,000 devotees come here for darshan. The doors here will also be closed after four days. Today, the door of Bhakunt Bhairavnath ji was closed in the middle of havan and puja as per rituals.
The priests of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham arrived to participate in the first puja rituals after the closure of the gates of Bhankut Bhairavnath ji. During the puja, after the Jalabhishek of Bhakunt Bhairavnath, he offered prayers and food to him. All the priests completed the Havan Yagya of Bhakunt Bhairavnath. During the puja, a prayer was made for the completion of the Chardham Yatra without any obstacles. Kedarnath Dham is also included in Panch Kedar. The gates of Kedanath Dham will be closed on the day of Bhai Dooj.
