Today, parents came to the school and closed the main gate in protest because the principal of Dalawas Village Government Secondary School did not come to school on time, did not teach the children and did not pay teachers’ salaries for six months. The police team and block education officer Jalkaran reached the spot and explained to the villagers, but announced that they would continue the blockade until the principal was transferred, after which the police took away the principal amidst the angry villagers.
Under the leadership of Manoj Kumar, president of the School Management Committee of Dalawas Village Government High School, the villagers closed the main gate of the school and started a dharna in front of it. Hundreds of villagers came with their children and supported their demand and started demanding the expulsion of all the teachers. Meanwhile, BEO Jalakaran and the police team reached there to maintain peace and demand opening of the school, but the villagers did not calm down and returned the BEO empty-handed and expelled all the teachers from the school.
When the police asked them to open the lock, the villagers became angry and said that the director was being very careless. If the principal does not arrive at school on time and does not teach the children, he is playing with the children’s future. The facilities and plans of the education department have completely failed today and the principal himself does not maintain coordination and brotherhood with the other teachers. Due to non-payment of salaries to the teachers for six months, there is deep anger among them towards the principal.

Regarding this, villager Pramod Kumar said that the people of the village have been explaining to the director for about 4 years. It neither arrives on time nor leaves on time. The teaching behavior is also not good. He tells the students that he will fail them. This principal should be expelled from the school. If our demands are not met, we will protest.
