In the case of third year students, the university administration has returned the semester to 120 MBBS students. Additionally, a fine of Rs 25,000 each was imposed on 11 final year students who sent obscene messages. All students were also ordered to leave the hostel.
This action has been taken by the Anti Ragging Committee and their information has also been sent to the National Medical Council of India. To ensure that no untoward incident takes place in the Medical College, the principal has informed the DM, Commissioner, SSP along with Tilkamanjhi and Barari Police Station Chief through a letter. After this big anti-raging incident, classes are interrupted and there is an atmosphere of fear among the freshmen who complained.
