The Prime Minister said there was a time when people’s houses, land and jewelery were sold for treatment. The poor man’s soul trembled when he heard the cost of treating a serious illness. I couldn’t see my poor brothers and sisters in this helplessness, that’s why the ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme was born.
