Home Minister Amit Shah
Home Minister Amit Shah today launched the Civil Registration System (CRS) application at the Census Building. Through this application, any common man can register births and deaths from anywhere. With the help of the app, now this registration work can be done easily from home. This app will prove to be effective in freeing the common man from visiting government offices and standing in long queues.
To do this, the official address of the Census India 2021 informed you that birth and death registration will be easily done through this application. As per the procedure, any person will have to submit information related to birth or death and register on the app within 21 days of birth or death.
Depending on the app, if you are unable to register within 21 days, you will need to pay additional fees. For this, any common citizen of the country will have to pay a fee of Rs 2 within 22 to 30 days and a late payment fee of Rs 5 within 31 days to a year. In addition to this, a fee of Rs 10 has been fixed for older certificates, i.e. the maximum late payment fee will be Rs 10.
On this occasion, Home Minister Amit Shah said that this application allows citizens to register anytime, from anywhere and in the official language of their state. With this, registration of births and deaths becomes easy and hassle-free.
Preparations have been intensified to carry out the census in the country. Mobile applications will also be used to collect information in the census. He also said that for the first time the National Population Registry (NPR) will be carried out. Thanks to which the law and order of the country will improve and a new path will be opened for the development of the country.
However, no information has yet been given on when the population census will begin and what its format will be. Also, the opposition parties are continuously demanding a caste census, what steps the government has taken in this regard, but answers to all these questions have not been given yet.
