How powerful time is and what the value of every minute is, a person realizes this when he misses a goal by a few moments, a few moments, a few seconds, a few minutes. Prakash Ambedkar’s party Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) had declared Anees as its candidate from the Nagpur Central Assembly seat in Nagpur, but could not file the nomination due to a one-minute delay. Former MLA and former minister Anees Ahmed was a candidate for the Congress ticket. When he did not get the Congress ticket, Anees was adamant about participating in the elections at any cost and left the alliance and joined VBA a day earlier.
VBA also brought in Anees. He also proposed his nomination on October 29, the last date of nomination for the Maharashtra elections. Anees completed all the formalities and processes, but by the time he reached the returning officer to submit the nomination papers, it was already 3:15. The time set for nomination was only until 3 o’clock.
Citing this one-minute delay, the election official closed the door to the nomination room. Anees Ahmed was deprived of filing nomination papers and this time his dream of entering the electoral battle and knocking on the doors of the Maharashtra Assembly was also shattered. Anees has put the administration in the hot seat throughout this entire episode. Anees Ahmed alleged that he had entered before three in the afternoon.

Anees Ahmed claimed that my man was sitting inside. They gave him chip number eight. When my man was sitting inside, why wasn’t I allowed to go? He also said that once one has entered this door, there should be no other door after that. Anees said that before 3 o’clock he had crossed the main door, the half door and all the doors and entered. The officials didn’t let me go.
