A shocking case has come to light in Churu district of Rajasthan. Where the police have arrested a fake police station agent. The accused woman is said to have swindled thousands of rupees by posing as SI of the Delhi Police.

During the investigation, the police came to know that the accused Anju Sharma had failed class 10th three times. She was fooling people of Churu, Hanumangarh, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Panipat by posing as a police officer for the last three years. Police have recovered a fake police card, uniform and VIP facility card from Anju.

False police arrested

Sahwa police station house officer Alka Bishnoi said Anju Sharma, 24, is a resident of Devgarh village. He used to extort thousands of rupees from unemployed youth on the pretext of recruiting them for government jobs. The police conducted a confidential investigation and arrested Anju Sharma and after interrogation it was found that she was misleading people by posing as a police officer while living in Delhi.

The police investigation also revealed that Anju had swindled Rs 12.93 lakh from Arjunlal Barber, a resident of Bandra, in the name of recruiting the head constable of Delhi Police. Based on this complaint, the police arrested the fake police officer Anju. Videos of herself in Delhi Police uniform have also been recovered from Anju’s mobile.

Has committed fraud worth thousands of rupees

Police officer Alka Vishnoi said that Anju had got married with great pomp in Haryana a year ago with the fraud money and used to commit this crime to fulfill her hobbies. The police are now investigating the matter thoroughly.
