CM Nayab Saini has also pointed out when the name of the opposition leader is not final.
He told the media: You should find the leader of the opposition in Congress.
Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: The Congress, which was determined to form the government in Haryana, suffered a crushing defeat in these assembly elections. The BJP badly defeated the Congress and formed the government with a hat-trick of victories in the state. This is the first time in the history of Haryana that a party has come to power for the third consecutive time. The dreams of Congress were shattered. Congress leaders blamed former CM Hooda for the defeat. The Selja faction directly blamed Bapu-son for the defeat. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi also cited the leaders’ mutual selfishness as the reason for the party’s defeat. Frustrated by the defeat, the Congress started blaming the EVMs. The EVM issue reached the Election Commission and the Supreme Court.
The Congress had to face defeat in both places. Now another question is being raised about the Congress leadership. He is the leader of the opposition. After the election results, a new government was formed. Ministers have also been assigned their departments. An assembly session has been called and all the MLAs have been administered oath. But the Congress has not yet been able to choose the name of the opposition leader. Which, somewhere, raises questions about Congress’ leadership. The Hooda and Selja factions have also clashed over the opposition leader. At the same time, the BJP is continuously attacking the Congress over the election of the opposition leader. CM Saini already targeted the Congress while speaking to the media at the marathon organized in Panipat. Chief Minister Nayab Saini had told the media that you should find the opposition leader in the Congress.
Chandramohan and Ashok Arora in race
Regarding the post of opposition leader, the high command for the post of opposition leader was named after Kalka MLA Chandramohan of the Selja faction. Chandramohan is the son of former CM Bhajan Lal. Kumari Selja wants to make Chandramohan leader of the opposition. At the same time, former CM Bhupendra Hooda himself is in the race for the post of opposition leader. But due to lack of consensus on his name, he is pushing for Thanesar MLA Ashok Arora to be the opposition leader. Even in the Congress Legislature Party meeting held a few days ago, the decision on the opposition leader could not be taken and Hooda put the ball in the high command’s court.
