The biggest rebellion in the by-elections was seen in the Aam Aadmi Party in Barnala. That’s why there was rebellion in the party.

In reality, Gurdeep Bath was considered a strong contender for candidacy in the by-elections. Baath is also the party’s district chairman for Barnal and the chairman of the District Planning Board. Instead of bringing him in, the party has brought in Harinder Singh Dhaliwal (35). Harendra Singh Dhaliwal is close to former Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Barnala and Sangrur MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer. Political experts say that it is thanks to this closeness that Harendra Dhaliwal got the nomination.
