A large number of police forces have been deployed in Ram Nagari for the Depotsav program to be held in Ayodhya. 1,500 police officers were called from Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Basti, Varanasi and Gorakhpur camps. Some 5,000 police officers have been deployed to ensure the security of the Depotsav program. Along with the CO, additional SP posted in Ayodhya, police officials from other districts have also been deployed.
At present, 15 additional SPs, 31 deputy SPs and 65 inspectors have been deployed in Ram Nagri. The entire Ayodhya has been divided into zones and sectors. Additional rank officers of the SP and deputy SP have been appointed as nodal officers of the security plan in each zone and sector.
In view of the Deepotsav program in Ayodhya, strict security measures have been adopted. For this, 15 additional SPs, 31 deputy SPs, 65 inspectors, 260 sub-inspectors, 1025 male constables, 30 female sub-inspectors, 200 constables and 8 PACs of the company have also been appointed.
Not only this, BDDS (Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad) and Anti Sabotage teams have also been deployed in Ayodhya to conduct checks at various locations with modern security equipment. A large number of LIU (Local Intelligence) and Civil Police personnel have also been deployed to collect information from the entire area and monitor the situation. In addition to this, the entire Depotsav program area will be monitored through CCTV cameras and drones.
Let us tell you that this is the first Deepotsav in Ayodhya after the consecration of Ram Lalla, so preparations have begun to create a new world record in this Deepotsav. In the 8th edition of Depotsav by Yogi Sarkar, Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh, Prof. Under the leadership of Pratibha Goyal, to make Depotsav-2024 historic, preparations have been completed to light up more than 25 lakh lamps with the help of 30 thousand volunteers. On Tuesday, 30 members of the Guinness Book of World Records team, under the leadership of consultant Nischal Barot, started counting the lamps of 55 ghats of Saryu in the presence of the supervisor, ghat attendant, coordinator and counting volunteer .
The university administration completed the decoration work of 28 lakh lamps at 55 ghats of Saryu. For its preparations, the university has deployed a huge team of over two thousand people along with supervisors, ghat in-charge and a considerable number of volunteers. Under his supervision, more than 25 lakh lamps will be lit in the festival of lights.
