The Mumbai Crime Branch, which is investigating the Baba Siddiqui murder case, has revealed that the shooters were in direct contact with Anmon Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. According to the Crime Branch, during interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that the shooter was in direct contact with Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. However, the motive for the murder has not been revealed during the investigation.

The Mumbai Crime Branch, for the first time during the investigation of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui’s murder case, found a direct link of Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi with the shooters. It has emerged that the three gunmen suspected of carrying out the murder had spoken to Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, through an instant messaging application (Snapchat) before the murder. Anmol Bishnoi was also in touch with shooter and conspirator Praveen Lonkar. Anmol was in contact with accused from Canada and the United States. Four mobile phones have also been seized from the accused.
10 accused arrested so far
The Crime Branch has so far arrested 10 accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, including two shooters and an arms supplier. Shooter Shivkumar Gautam and several accused whom the police have named as accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case are absconding. The defendants were in contact with each other via Snapchat and deleted messages immediately after receiving instructions. Similarly, when the Snapchats of the arrested accused were closely examined, it was revealed that the shooters and Praveen Lonkar were in direct contact with Anmol Bishnoi.
Now the Crime Branch is preparing to soon add relevant sections of the MCOCA in this case. During the investigation, police obtained information about several Snapchat accounts through which the defendants were in contact with each other.
