Kaushambi: A shocking incident has come to light in a psychiatric asylum run in Kaushambi district of UP. Ansar Ahmed, a person who worked in this institution, alleged that the operator of the institution murders psychiatric patients and smuggles human organs, Ansar alleged. It is alleged that the dead body is buried underground in the premises itself, however, it is also true that on October 23, the director of the trust, Mehndi Ali, lodged an FIR against the accused Ansar, in which Ansar has been booked for Sarebazar Mehndi Allegations such as misconduct with wife, assault on Mehndi and assault on the girl (19 months) are also included. Just a few days after this incident, Ansar Ahmed made serious allegations against Mehndi as human trafficking, following which Kaushambi DM formed a team in the matter and ordered an investigation. When the case of murder of mentally ill people and trafficking in human organs came to light on Saturday, the police were also put on alert. The India TV team also reached the village and collected information about the matter and found that this ashram, built on two and a quarter bighas, was donated in 2018 to the trust director Mehndi Ali Rajput, who turned out to be Anuj Pratap Singh, a Resident from Prayagraj until the year 2017. This person who has become Anuj’s Mehndi says that whatever allegations have been made against him, they are completely wrong and have been made with the intention of implicating him. He himself is appealing to CM Yogi to conduct a detailed investigation into this matter.

According to Mehndi, local people don’t like him because he is a Muslim, while Muslims don’t like him because he has converted from a Hindu to a Muslim. Mehndi says that there are currently 21 psychopaths under his trust, of which 9 are women and 12 are men. In the last 2 years, 1 person has died in the ashram. After the death in June 2023, the Trust had provided written information in this regard to DM and SP Kaushambi along with the district disability welfare officer. The last rites of the deceased took place at Prayagraj Electric Mortuary and the Trust also showed all the information, receipt and payment proof related to India TV. In any government hospital to which the Trust has taken the patient for treatment, where all necessary tests have been carried out, all records are available with the Trust. Even every photo taken during death and survival is updated in the file. The director of the trust describes all these accusations as conspiracy to implicate himself.
This trust called One Umbreala was formed in 2018 and most of its funding comes from friends and close people. Many times the trust also gets money through government schemes. According to the manager, he has so far taken a loan of around Rs 3 million from different banks to run this ashram. Currently, within the trust, three-meter-high walls have also been built, a court for playing volleyball, many rooms for the mentally ill, a room for their entertainment and study, so that the mentally ill can also be cared for. However, according to some people in the village, the administrator’s behavior is not good towards the people of the village, so people avoid meeting him.
However, the administration and police have started investigating the sensational allegations. The truth will definitely come out after the investigation, but such sensational allegations in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh have once again shocked the entire area.
