The Mumbai Traffic Police on Wednesday arrested a 56-year-old man. He had allegedly sent messages threatening to kill Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Maharashtra NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui if he did not pay Rs 2 million. According to information received, Azam Mohammad Mustafa had on Tuesday sent a threatening message to the WhatsApp helpline of the traffic police, stating that both of them would meet the same fate as the father of former State Minister Baba Siddiqui. and Zeeshan Siddiqui. His warning should not be taken as a joke.
Let us tell you that Baba Siddiqui was shot dead by three gunmen in Bandra area on October 12. After receiving the message, Worli police registered a case against an unknown person and launched an investigation. Some people have also been arrested.
The officer said that Mustafa, a resident of Blue Fame Apartment in Bandra (west), was arrested on Wednesday. This is an elegant area. The mobile phone and SIM card used in the crime were recovered from Mustafa.
During the investigation, the police collected the call details record (CDR) of the mobile number from which the message was sent and formed a team to crack the case. He said based on technical information, they arrested the accused from Bandra.
Mustafa had said in his message to the traffic police, “This is not a joke, how Baba Siddiqui was eliminated, the next target is Zeeshan Siddiqui and Salman Khan will also be shot there.”
It was further written, ‘Ask Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddiqui to give him 2 crores. If you want to save your life, don’t take it as a joke or it will be known on October 31st. Warning to Zeeshan Siddiqui and Salman Khan.
Earlier this month, the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp helpline received a threatening message demanding Rs 5 crore from actor Salman. Following this, police arrested a person from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, in connection with the threatening message.
Arrest was also made in Noida.
Earlier on Monday, Mumbai Police arrested a person from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, who had allegedly threatened to kill Khan and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddiqui. Zeeshan’s father, Baba Siddiqui, was shot dead by three gunmen in Bandra (east) on October 12.
Let us tell you that Khan had earlier received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Alleged members of this dreaded gang opened fire in front of the actor’s house in Bandra in April this year.
