In the early years, he used to come home from time to time and also meet his wife, but for the last 5 years he did not come to his village and during this period, his parents and others married the woman to her. husband by marrying him for the second time through WhatsApp. After that, her husband first made a video call in the month of May and spoke rudely to the woman and then gave her triple talaq.
In reality, the victim was married to Niazul, son of Hasnain, a resident of Azamgarh. At first everything was going well and they both had three children whose ages were 15 years, 13 years and 7 years, but after the birth of these three children, the victim’s body changed and he gained weight. So her husband Hasnain has no interest in her and has been working in Saudi Arabia for the last 9 years. During the last 5 years he had not returned from Saudi Arabia nor paid any expenses to the victim. The victim’s father-in-law married his son to another woman through online video calls and then sent the woman to Saudi Arabia.

According to information, on May 8, 2024, at midnight, the accused Hasnain made a WhatsApp call, abused his first wife and divorced the victim by saying ‘talaq-talaq’ three times. After which the victim complained to the superintendent of police on May 9. After this, the head of police station, Nandganj, told the victim to register her complaint at Azamgarh police station, Bilariaganj, but when she reached Bilariaganj Azamgarh, the police sent the victim to live in the his in-laws’ house. As soon as the victim’s mother-in-law and father-in-law returned from Saudi Arabia, on July 15, 2024, they beat her and took her out of the house along with the children. The victim said that her mother-in-law and father-in-law told her that when your husband has divorced you, what is your job here now?

After this, the victim continued visiting Nandganj police station in Ghazipur and Bilariaganj police station in Azamgarh along with the office of the Superintendent of Police. Failing to get justice, she sought the help of the court and the court took cognizance of the matter and ordered to register a case against her in-laws, husband and stepdaughter. After the court order, Nandganj police are taking further action by registering a case under sections 323, 504 and 494 as well as sections 3 and 4 under protection of marriage rights of Muslim women.
