Uncle and nephew shot dead in Shahdara, Delhi.
Panic is spreading in Bihari Colony of Farsh Bazar Police Station area in Shahdara, Delhi. On Diwali night, two gunmen killed the uncle and nephew by firing five shots. A minor was injured in the shooting, whose treatment continues in the hospital. The attack took place when the deceased was celebrating Diwali at home with his family. The attackers entered the house and opened fire indiscriminately. The police are busy arresting the accused. The forensic and criminalistics team has collected evidence from the scene of the incident.
In the initial investigation by the police, it appears that this is a case of personal enmity. The relatives of the deceased have also pointed this out. He says that these murders have been committed over a land dispute. Police are investigating from all angles. Everyone’s statements are being recorded. The attackers had come fully prepared to carry out the incident. According to the police, they entered the house and first touched the feet of the deceased and then opened fire indiscriminately. After the incident, screams were heard in the house.
The attackers were carrying a box of candy.
After the incident, the statement of deceased Akash’s mother came out. He said everyone was celebrating Diwali inside the house. Then a person named Lakshya came and knocked on the door. When he looked down from the ceiling, Lakshya and another person were standing with their faces covered. When he asked the reason for his visit, Lakshya showed him a box of sweets and asked him to take it. The mother said she hung up the bucket and picked up the box. But he started knocking on the door again. She said that when she came down, her son was running inside. He also returned and opened fire.
‘Bunty and Puneet paid money to have him killed’
The deceased’s mother said that the accused who attacked first touched Akash’s feet and then shot him. Bunty and Puneet have paid money to have their son and Dhewate killed. She alleges that these same people had previously had her husband killed. These people ask for a share of your house. He has bought this house by paying his own money. She says these same people first shot from the target and blamed my son.

Bullets fired indiscriminately during Diwali
The incident occurred on Thursday night around 8 p.m. Akash Sharma alias Chhotu and his nephew Rishabh Sharma, residents of Bihari colony, were killed in the incident. While Akash’s son Krish Sharma, 10, was seriously injured by the bullet. Late Akash’s mother said everyone was happily celebrating Diwali at home. Then, around eight p.m., two people arrived on a scooter. He entered the house and touched Akash’s feet, then the other person asked him to shoot. After this they started firing bullets. Akash, Rishabh and Krish bled to death due to gunshot wounds.
Uncle and nephew died, son was injured
All three were immediately taken to the hospital. Where doctors declared Akash and Rishabh dead. Meanwhile, Krish is undergoing treatment. The mother of the deceased says she knows the accused who attacked her. There has been a land dispute with them for many years. He says the young attacker has been seen wandering his street for several days. Police have also expressed suspicions of personal rivalry in connection with the incident. Police said prima facie it appears to be a case of personal enmity. He said that the statements of the victims’ relatives will be recorded and the investigation in this regard will continue.
Police search for attackers
Regarding the incident, a Delhi Police official said that after receiving a PCR call around 8.30 pm, a police team was sent to the spot. The team found blood stains at the scene. Eyewitnesses told the police that the accused had touched Akash Sharma’s feet before shooting him. He said Akash Sharma’s son Krish and nephew Rishabh, who were nearby, were also hit by bullets. The police officer said that Akash Sharma and Rishabh Sharma were declared brought dead by doctors at the hospital while Krish Sharma was undergoing treatment. The case has been registered. The attackers are being sought.
