A cache of 18th century weapons has been found in a field in UP’s Shahjahanpur district. The villagers were surprised to see this. In reality, the farmer was plowing the field to plow, when the sound of the plow hitting some irons was heard deep inside the soil. When the excavation was carried out, ancient swords, daggers, spears and guns were found there. All of these were buried underground for years.

As soon as the information was received, agents from the local police and the Treasury Department arrived there. The Department of Archeology was also informed. Tilhar MLA Salona Kushwaha also reached the spot. At the same time, when the local population heard about this, they arrived in large numbers near the farm. There was a constant flow of spectators. Experts say these weapons are 200 years old.

Let us tell you that while plowing the fields at Dhakiya Tiwari village in Nigohi Police Station area of Shahjahanpur, ancient weapons were found inside the soil. Babu Ram, a resident of the village, said he had removed the soil from the field with a JCB a few days ago. The fields were being plowed for the first time after removing the earth, when the sound of iron hitting the plow was heard. When carefully excavated, ancient swords, daggers, spears and guns were found from within the ground.

Omveer Singh of the village says there was a garden here long ago. Later this land was purchased by Baburam. In the past, the townspeople took dirt from here. Now Baburam plowed here for the first time, then the swords clashed with the plow. When the excavation was carried out, gun barrels, spears, etc. were found in it.

In this case, historian Vikas Khurana says that the use of firearms began in his region in the 18th century. It came into use in India during the time of Babar. I haven’t been able to see the swords yet, but from what I’ve heard, the swords are covered in silver and have also rusted. In that case, she would also be old. For now we will demand that DM study it. At the same time, the wood of the weapon found has been devoured by termites. Only the cord remains. The weapon is estimated to be about 200 years old.
