In the encounter, bullets were fired from both sides. During this, a bullet hit the criminal’s leg. So the criminal could not escape and the police arrested him. The miscreant has been admitted to the hospital by the police for treatment. During this time, news has also come to light that a police officer was shot. However, the police officer was not injured because he was wearing a bulletproof vest. He escaped safely. The incident occurred on Thursday night. According to information received from the police, last night the police received information that Surendra Lohari, a resident of Moth-Lohari village in Hisar, is absconding in a murder case.
The police had received information that criminal Surendra Lohari was hiding on the Kalanaur-Basana road in Rohtak. On receiving the information, the police raided with force. Seeing himself surrounded by the police, the criminal opened fire on the police team. The police also opened fire in retaliation. A bullet hit the criminal’s leg. Due to the gunshots, he was unable to escape. The police arrested the accused. At that moment a bullet also hit a police officer. But he survived safely thanks to the bulletproof vest. The police recovered a country-made pistol and a bicycle from the scene. Meanwhile, the injured accused Surendra was first shifted to Kalanaur government hospital, from where he was referred to Rohtak PGI.
Lohari was wanted for the murder of Pradeep, a resident of Gudhan.
Criminal Surendra Lohari was wanted for the murder of Pradeep Tomar, a resident of Gudhan village in Rohtak. Pradeep was beaten to death and strangled with a cloth on November 2. Pradeep’s half-naked body was found near the railway track on the Kalanaur-Mokhara road. There were wound marks on his body. According to police, one of his sneakers was found lying in the field. From the marks made on the ground, it looked like he had struggled a lot to escape. His entire body was covered in mud. The police had accused Surendra Lohari of murder in this case.
