The name was going to be something else.
According to a report, earlier the name of ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ was going to be ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’. However, after this, Dharma Production owner Karan Johar heard the song ‘Aisa Milan Kal Ho Na Ho’ from Kajol and Saif Ali Khan’s film ‘Hamesha’ and changed his mind.
The curse of the red dress
This film is also known for Preity Zinta’s appearance. People really liked his cute avatar with glasses. Apart from this, there was also a lot of talk about Preeti’s red dress. In a scene in the film where Preeti’s character Naina tells Saif’s character Rohit that she is in love with Aman i.e. Shahrukh Khan, in the next scene, Naina is heartbroken. Preeti had once said that every time she shot that scene, something would happen. He said either there would have been a problem with the rain machine or the shoot would have been cancelled. At one point she felt that her dress was Paauti.
Naina’s father’s role
In the film, Jaya Bachchan played the role of Jenny, Naina’s mother, but nothing is known about Naina’s father. According to a news report, Shahrukh’s children never saw the actual ending of this film. This is the ending where Shahrukh’s character dies at the end. Karan had made a special edition for Shahrukh’s children in which his death scene was cut.
