Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, which is always in the headlines due to its achievements, is in the news again. The commotion was such that angry employees entered the registrar’s office and beat him. The image of the university has once again been tarnished by this incident. TMBU employees have been protesting for several days demanding salaries. In the end, the patience of the employees ran out. The employees lost their temper and entered the Registrar’s office and vandalized it.

The angry employees, who had been demanding salaries for a long time, surrounded the registrar. During this, he took out his phone, hit it, clasped his hands together and misbehaved. The things that were on his table were also thrown. Employees demanding continued pay were not heard anywhere. The employees had demonstrated to obtain the registrar’s written consent for payment of salaries, which led to violence.

Salary not received even after Chhath festival

Professor Vikas Chandra, Registrar of TMBU, was attacked in his own room. The employees said that all of them were paid salaries, the government had also announced that all of them would be paid before Chhath. The salaries of retirees were sent, but those of non-teaching staff were not paid. The registrar himself quarreled with the employees. Whatever has happened has happened thanks to the Registrar. After the fierce demonstration by the employees, the Registrar signed for the salary.

the employees got angry

All this has happened in the university when the Chancellor and Governor is about to arrive at the university. Before he arrived at the university on November 14, the employees became angry and the registrar became their victim. However, the Registrar did not comment on the matter. Even after the Chhath festival passed, salaries have not been paid to the employees.
