Many times life takes a person to a state such that it is not even possible to describe it. This is the current situation of bullion businessman Mukesh Verma, a resident of Etawah. An accident and a miracle occurred simultaneously in his life. An accident for which none other than Mukesh himself is responsible. First he killed his cheerful family with his bare hands. He took the lives of his wife and three lovely children and then lay down on the train tracks to die. But look at the game of fate, the person lying on the train tracks was betrayed by death. Seven train cars passed, but not a hair was spared.
This is the story of the city of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. The house of bullion businessman Mukesh Verma, who lives here in Lalpura, was hanging since the morning of Monday, November 10. Other relatives who lived with him also saw his house closed, but no one had any doubts about it. But at night something happened that stunned the police and the entire town of Etawah. After wandering around different places throughout the day, Mukesh lay down on the railway tracks near Etawah railway station around 9 pm. The intention was to commit suicide. But coincidentally, seven bogies of the roaring Marudhar Express passed by, but nothing happened to Mukesh.
On the other hand, when the driver saw the person lying under the train, he stopped the train. The police were called and Mukesh was pulled out from under the train. It only had small scratches. In this way his life was saved, but the story that came to light with this strange incident was horrifying. Mukesh said that with his own hands he had destroyed his entire family i.e. his wife and three children. Now his intention was to commit suicide, but it couldn’t happen. As soon as the police received this news, they rushed to their house in Lalpura and were shocked to see the scene inside the house. The scene inside was horrible.
The bodies of Mukesh Verma’s wife Rekha Verma, his 22-year-old daughter Bhavya, 16-year-old daughter Kavya and 10-year-old son Abhisht were found lying there. From the looks of it, it looked like he had been murdered by strangulation. However, by now Mukesh had also narrated the story of the murder of his entire family. He told how he first gave his family sleeping pills and then strangled his wife and children one by one with his bare hands. Mukesh said that he and his wife had planned a mass suicide together, once they even tried to commit suicide by hanging, but despite several attempts, neither of them managed to hang themselves.
He decided to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills on Sunday night. Mukesh ordered pizza for the children and mixed sleeping pills in it. Although the children did not eat all the pizza because the taste of the pizza was spoiled, they all fell asleep. After this, at 4 a.m. on Monday, he first killed his wife by strangling her with a rope and then killed the children one by one. Later, from 4 to 10 hours, he remained locked in the house with four bodies. During this time, he spoke to his 20 friends and family one by one on the phone. He even called the elder brother, who was worshiping in the temple during this time.
Believe me, despite committing such a big crime, no one thought from Mukesh Verma’s voice that he was calling them after destroying the entire family. After this he continued wandering here and there all day. And then he arrived at the train station with the intention of committing suicide. But before he committed suicide, at 8.20 pm, he posted three photos on his wife Rekha’s phone status and wrote on the fourth… This is all over. After this he informed the police. He dialed 112 and told the police that four people in his family had committed suicide and that he was also going to die. However, fate had other plans.
He definitely fell on the tracks, but was not hit by the train. But then the question was: why did Mukesh do this? After all, what was happening in Mukesh and his wife’s life was that they wanted to commit suicide. So, according to the story he told the police during initial interrogation, some of his friends and family have embezzled thousands of rupees from him, so his financial situation is bad and he has been under stress for years. He had talked about dying several times before, but each time his wife prevented him by telling him that if he died, she would kill him along with her, so that the children’s lives would not become a burden.
However, this is only one aspect of the story. The second aspect is that this was Mukesh’s second marriage and after this he was also having an affair with another woman. If police sources are to be believed, one of his relatives told the police that Mukesh was in a relationship with a divorced woman living in Kanpur, due to which there was tension in the house. Besides that, financial constraints were also one of the reasons. However, now the police have sent Mukesh to jail, but there is a greater need to understand the reasons behind the way this man destroyed his entire family and tried to commit suicide and give psychological treatment to Mukesh.
