It is related to the incident in 1988, when Om Singh Rathod (known locally as ‘Om Banna’) was traveling on his Royal Enfield motorcycle. He met with an accident some distance from Pali and died at the same place. It is said that after the accident, the police took his bullet to the police station and locked it. But, surprisingly, the motorcycle returned to the spot alone. She was taken to the police station several times, but each time this miracle was repeated. After this, the local people considered it a divine event and started worshiping Om Banna and his bala by building a temple at the same place.
