Six people were killed and at least five others were wounded when gunmen opened fire at a bar in southeastern Mexico on Sunday. The shooting incident took place in the coastal province of Tabasco, which has recently been struggling with increasing violence. Public Security Secretary Omar García Harfuchs said on Twitter that the shooting occurred in Villahermosa and that federal authorities are working with local authorities to help resolve the incident. So far there is no news of any arrests and it is unclear what led to the dismissal.
In early November, gunmen attacked a bar in the central Mexican city of Querétaro, killing 10 people. According to Juan Luis Ferresca, head of public security in Querétaro, the attackers opened fire inside the Los Cantaritos bar, in the historic center of the city.

A video posted on social media said emergency services arrived at the scene and confirmed that at least four men armed with long weapons had arrived in a van. They said 10 people had been reported dead so far and at least seven others had been injured. .

Ferresca said a suspect was detained and the vehicle used in the attack was abandoned and set on fire. Querétaro is considered one of the safest cities in Mexico due to the increase in violence in 2006.
