This lease can be taken by anyone and is obtained by submitting a photograph, Aadhar card and a fee of Rs 200. It is available for one year and then the lease must be re-signed. For this, a space of 8 by 8 meters is reserved, where the excavation can be carried out. The only condition is that the excavated earth cannot be removed from there and must only be thrown there once the work is completed. Different types of places are available in it where excavations can be carried out.
How do people mine diamonds?
According to a BBC report, diamonds have been mined here for many years. There are many people who did not get a single large diamond in their life and much of their money was wasted. Apart from this, there are some people who have found more than 20 diamonds so far. Some diamonds are worth Rs 50 lakhs, while others sell for even Rs 2 or 3 million. After this, the government auctions it off and after collecting some fees, the mine owner gets the money. Many people also black market it to save royalties or make quick money.
