Ambala News | GMN School | William Shakespeare King Lear Ambalá. William Shakespeare’s famous tragic play, King Lear, was screened for the students of English literature by the Department of English, GMN College, Ambala Cantt, under the direction of director Dr. Rohit ji, on November 28, 2024.
By watching this film, which depicts an incident related to the history of England, students of literature and other streams got information about the literary and historical events of that time, which will be very useful for them to easily understand their syllabus.
Dr. Neena, coordinator of this programme, said that arranging films related to the syllabus removes the monotony of the syllabus and helps in easy understanding. Director Dr. Rohit Dutt ji, while highlighting literature, inspired the English department to devote additional time to film screening in their syllabus. Dr. Jyoti, Dr. Anshu Chaudhary and Mrs. Mehak from English department were present in this program.
